Who Qualifies

You may qualify if the person you care for:

  • Is enrolled in Michigan Medicaid

  • Needs help with daily activities like bathing, cooking, or mobility

  • Lives at home (not in a nursing facility)

  • Can have a doctor complete the required forms

You may be paid if you are a:

  • Daughter or son

  • Grandchild

  • Sibling

  • Other relative, friend, or roommate

❌ Spouses and parents of minors are not eligible to be paid under this program
